Privacy Policy

ViralCatcher is operated by 2x ROAS LLC (“ViralCatcher”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use viralcatcher.com and the ViralCatcher app, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: justin@applyden.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, your password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form) and the TikTok username you give us.
- What you tell the Agent: your messages to ViralAgent and its answers, the creators and products you track, and anything you share about your content (for example your niche or goals) so it can tailor advice.
- Billing details: payments are processed by Commas (FanBasis). We receive your email, the plan you bought, payment status and transaction IDs. So that a trial is used once per person, we also check the brand, last four digits and expiry date of the card a trial was paid with, and keep only a scrambled code made from them, not the details themselves. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage and device data: your IP address, browser type, pages and features used, and error and security logs. We use these to run the service, stop abuse and fix problems.
- Cookies: we use a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. Microsoft Clarity (next point) sets cookies of its own on our public pages and during sign-up and checkout. We don’t place advertising cookies of our own.
- How visitors use the site (Microsoft Clarity): on our public pages and during sign-up and checkout we use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used: pages opened, clicks, scrolling and a replay of the visit, so we can find and fix what is confusing. What you type into a form is not captured, and neither is the payment form. Clarity is switched off once you are signed in with a paid plan. Clarity uses first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies, and Microsoft may also use this data to improve its own products and advertising. How we use it
- To provide ViralCatcher: your account, the Viral Feed, product and creator research, ViralAgent and your saved items.
- To process payments, manage your plan and Agent credits, and send account and billing emails.
- To keep the service secure: sign-in protection, bot checks, rate limits and fraud prevention.
- To answer support requests and improve the service.
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it for advertising, except that Microsoft may use the Clarity data described above for its own products and advertising.
AI processing
When you use ViralAgent, video breakdowns or market angles, your request and the ViralCatcher data needed to answer it are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate the response. We use Google’s paid API service; under Google’s terms for paid services, your prompts and responses are not used to improve Google’s products. AI answers can be wrong, so check important facts before you rely on them.
Public TikTok content
ViralCatcher shows publicly available TikTok information: videos, creator handles, view counts, captions and TikTok Shop product tags. Videos and trademarks belong to their owners. If you’re a creator and want your content removed from ViralCatcher, email justin@applyden.com with your handle.
Who helps us run the service
We share information only with providers that process it on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Railway (servers and database) and Vercel (website hosting)
- Google (Gemini AI)
- Commas / FanBasis (payments)
- Postmark (account and billing email)
- Cloudflare (bot protection on sign-up)
- Microsoft (Clarity: how visitors use our public pages, sign-up and checkout)
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our users or the service, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or billing reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing justin@applyden.com from your account email. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law; we honor them and won’t treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password private and tell us right away if you think your account was accessed without your permission.
Age
ViralCatcher is for adults 18 and older (TikTok Shop’s affiliate program also requires creators to be 18+). We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Where your data is processed
Our service providers process data in the United States. By using ViralCatcher from another country, you understand your information will be processed there.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or in the app before significant changes take effect.
