The woman lost her purse in Walmart with all of her cash and credit cards inside.
And for any woman who’s ever owned a Coach purse, you know those babies don’t run cheap. That place is truly running a gold mine.
It’s highly likely the amount you paid to have that trademark “C” on your bag exceeds the amount of money you carry in it.
So you can imagine that whenChristy Neubertentered a Walmart in Hot Springs, Arkansas, with her pricey purse, only to reach the checkout without it, she was a bit frantic.
Losing your credit cards, license, keys and cash is bad enoughbut the Coach bag too?!
It’s a first-world problem we may hate to admit, but if we’re honest, that’s a tough blow.
And if we’re realistic, we know that anybody who knows what those things are worth would probablysnatch it in a heartbeat in hopes of turninga profit or simply scoringa new addition to their own designer collection.
But one Good Samaritan Walmart worker did exactly the opposite when he came across Christy’s purse.
This honest young man brought the bag along with all of Christy’s money and credit cards to the store’s customer service desk.
When she tried to reward him with cash, the only exchange he would except for his good deed was a HUG.
He replied, “No ma’am, that’s my blessing to you!”
Christy posted the heartwarming exchange of events toFacebook, praising the worker for his kindness, and it has since been shared by thousands who share her sentiment:
This young man works at Walmart on central in Hot Springs! He found my coach purse which had all my money cards everything in it and took it to customer service. I tried to reward him with some money and instead he gave me a big hug and said no ma’am, that’s my blessing to you! In this day when so much bad is going on it is so refreshing to find such a good and sweet young man! His parents should be proud!!
I couldn’t have said it better myself!
In a society running rampant with crimeand hate, it is selfless gentlemen like this who remind us that there is still genuine good in our broken world. Praise God for that.
